Gapminder Info
Relative to the rest of the world, Ghana doesn't emit huge amounts of CO2 per person. Furthermore, the countries emitting the most tons of CO2 per person are richer countries, such as the United States. Most of Ghana's emissions are due to actions they must take to survive, whereas ours (people in the United States) are more for convenience and pleasure.

Relative to Ghana's CO2 emissions per person, the child mortality rate is high. In fact, the highest rates of child mortality when compared to CO2 emissions are generally found in African countries. One of the biggest contributors to this issue is the smoke that infants inhale due to cooking inside with open stoves with wood and other bio-materials. Using a solar electric cooker will eliminate that problem.
